The Inzolia Sicilia DOC 2024 from Sallier de la Tour is an elegant white wine made from 100% Inzolia grapes, one of the oldest indigenous grape varieties in Sicily. The grapes come from the vineyards of Tenuta Sallier de la Tour in Monreale, which are characterized by calcareous and clayey soils and an ideal microclimate. After the harvest, fermentation takes place at a controlled 16€C in stainless steel tanks, followed by four months of maturation on the fine lees to intensify the aromas. In the glass, the wine is a bright straw yellow with greenish reflections. The nose is pampered by aromas of orange blossom, meadow flowers, melon and herbs. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity and light with a fine almond note on the finish.
