2020 Ulumbaza Red of Springfontein BIO

Deep, dark ruby red with bluish reflections, shining in the glass. Its bouquet is multi-layered, with aromas of ripe dark berries, plums, spices, chocolate, liquorice and a hint of mint. On the palate, the wine is fruity and spicy with mild acidity and velvety tannins. Strong, full-bodied with a pleasant finish. It matures for several months in used wooden barrels.

Recommendation: Serve slightly chilled at 17 degrees Celsius, it is a great all-rounder for everyday drinking, whether with strong fish, spicy cheese or simply with a cold meat platter. The Ulumbaza Red shows its best side everywhere. We recommend enjoying the wine fresh and young.
