2023 Friulano Friuli Grave

The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc grow in the Friuli Grave wine-growing region in the municipalities of Chiopris-Viscone and San Giovanni al Natisone, on dolomitic, stony loamy soils at the foothills of the Collio area. The special composition of the soil favors the temperature differences between day and night and thus the cultivation of aromatic grape varieties. The grapes are harvested mechanically, cold macerated in horizontal presses for 8 hours and the must is then decanted. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 15°C in stainless steel tanks, the wine remains in the same containers and matures for 4 months. After bottling, the Sauvignon Blanc is matured in the bottle for a certain period of time before being sold. Aroma of sage, green pepper and hazelnut.
