David Abreu, born and raised in Napa Valley, produces iconic single-vineyard wines from his meticulous vineyards, including Capella. The cuvée consists of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Petit Verdot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 4% Merlot, resulting in a deep, full-bodied wine. The nose reveals black cherries, coffee beans, licorice and a hint of leather. The wine has polished tannins and strong acidity and finishes on a mineral and spicy note.
