The Rossj-Bass from Angelo Gaja is an absolute classic: the combination of Chardonnay with a little Sauvignon Blanc shines golden yellow in the glass. The nose presents complex and extremely elegant aromas with floral notes of wisteria, lemon balm and acacia blossom, fruity nuances of peach that quickly lead to a marine hint. Intense and crisp, with a lively structure in which citrus fruits and mineral elements resonate. It reveals itself gradually, with fresh minerality on the long finish. Once again great class!
Recommendation: Drinking temperature 16-18 degrees Celsius, preferably open beforehand, please decant. Goes very well with dark meat dishes, Kobe beef roasted with mashed potatoes and truffle jus, braised dishes and fine game birds. A mature hard cheese also goes very well with this wine. Optimal drinking maturity is 2017 - 2035+.

Angelo Gaja is a famous Italian winemaker. He is known for his high quality standards, care in winemaking and a clear idea of a "Gaja wine".
The roots of the company lie in Spain (17th century). The Gaja winery was then founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja , a grape producer in Barbaresco. Since the 1980s, the company has expanded its range of wines in other areas of Piedmont and Tuscany and now also produces Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino.
The current owner Angelo Gaja is known to have had a great influence on wine production throughout Italy with his oenological and economic methods. His wines are considered a status symbol on a par with Château Lafite-Rothschild or Krug.
The Tuscany is one of the most famous wine-growing regions in Italy and famous worldwide for its excellent Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.Characterized by gentle hills, cypress alleys and a Mediterranean climate, the region offers ideal conditions for the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tuscany combines a long wine tradition with modern innovation. Famous wine towns such as Montalcino, Montepulciano and Bolgheri invite you to discover their wineries, tastings and impressive landscapes. In addition to the top wines, the Tuscan cuisine and cultural heritage of the region attract visitors from all over the world.
