In translation, Gowin means "your friend". This top wine is sure to become your friend!

The sibling duo
Since 1975, our winery has existed as a family business in beautiful Dellhofen on the Rhine heights of the romantic Middle Rhine Valley. We are the Siblings Christiane and Matthias and run the winery in the third generation - Christiane since 2002, Matthias since 2018.
Our passion is Rieslings with a strong character, which combine the typical Middle Rhine minerality and exclusive enjoyment. In addition to Riesling, we are just as successful in growing some grape varieties that are exotic for the Middle Rhine, especially red wine.
A big role for us is the love for our beautiful and unique homeland. This love motivates us to support the preservation of the unique cultural landscape of the Middle Rhine Valley with the strenuous manual work on the steep slopes.
The Middle Rhine Wine Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, stretches along the Rhine between Bingen and Bonn and is known for its elegant, mineral Rieslings of sometimes spectacularly steep slate sites. The cool climate and the unique soil conditions give the wines a special freshness and finesse.
Historic castles, romantic wine villages such as Bacharach and Oberwesel as well as traditional wineries characterize the image of the region. The Middle Rhine combines high-quality viticulture with an impressive cultural landscape.
