This wine opens with a big, aromatic burst of sweet fennelwood, baking spice, blackberry and stone fruit. The palate is full and robust with ripe fruit and round tannins. As the wine opens up further, it shows a real purity of fruit and becomes even silkier on the palate. Juicy, sweet notes of black cherries, violets and sweet vanilla and oak continue in a long, pleasant finish.
