The Twin Oaks from Mondavi is a classic Californian Chardonnay, but no longer as wood-laden as it was a few years ago. Some of the wines are now matured in stainless steel tanks and then blended with the wines from the barrique, giving the juicy smoothness a little more freshness and fruitiness. A wonderful accompaniment to shellfish or salmon.
