Intense purple red in the glass, the wine impresses on the nose with aromas of blackberries, plums, pepper, licorice and a hint of herbs and black tea. Round tannins and a strong structure on the palate. Wonderfully long on the finish. The Syrah was matured for 12 months in barrique barrels before being given a further 3 years in the bottle.
