Rampante, one of the 4 regions where we live and work, is located at an average altitude of 740 meters above sea level between Solicchiata and Passopisciaro. The area covers 4.6 hectares of vineyards. It is characterized by sweeping terraces with dry-stacked walls and a morphology that slopes from south-east to north-east with an average gradient of 4.7%. The area where Contrada Rampante is located is characterized by volcanic formations with different lithological characteristics, but dating back to the same period (between 15,000 and 4,000 years ago).
