Auxerrois is a grape variety that has almost fallen into oblivion, but which can produce great results, especially in Germany. The best example is the Auxerrois from Margarethenhof. Exotic fruit on the nose, then wonderfully melting and juicy on the palate with very mild acidity. An ideal accompaniment to lighter vegetable dishes or asparagus.
