Our CF Pinot Noir, an outstanding VDP estate wine, invites you into the world of our complex Pinot Noirs. It represents the ideal introduction to an unforgettable taste experience, whether as an elegant accompaniment to a meal or as a solo pleasure in front of the fireplace. Vinified using traditional mash fermentation and matured for at least 18 months in French barriques, this wine develops an impressive complexity. Its aromas of cherry and chocolate, refined by a hint of French oak, make it a multi-layered yet typical varietal experience. The velvety tannins play around the fruit aromas and lead to a long-lasting finish. The grapes, carefully selected from the gneiss and loess loam soils around Hallgarten, particularly from the Hallgarten Schönhell vineyard, give the wine its unique structure and depth.

Traditionally, the Fürst Löwenstein winery produces almost exclusively dry wines. The Fürst Löwenstein winery stands for a wine philosophy that is characterized by the unique climatic and geological conditions of the family-owned vineyards, in particular the famous Homburg Kallmuth with its steep slope.

400 years of princely winegrowing tradition. The history of our family and our wine stretches from 1611 to the present day. Back then, wine was of great importance in the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation. Huge quantities were produced and drunk. The Princes Löwenstein were a European noble house with estates on the Main and in the Odenwald, in Bohemia and Lorraine, in the Palatinate and in what is now Belgium. And they were also in the fortunate position of always having their own wine, with a winemaking tradition stretching from the beginnings in the town and county of Wertheim to Kleinheubach, where Prince Carl Thomas maintained a fabulous wine cellar in the 18th century. The upheavals of the Napoleonic era not only shaped the fortunes of the House of Löwenstein, but also created the conditions for the further development of viticulture in Franconia. During the German Empire, the top vineyards in Hallgarten in the Rheingau and the Kallmuth monastery vineyard, which had been cultivated since the Middle Ages, became part of the Löwenstein estate. The wines from the Rhine and the Main, brought together and matured in Kleinheubach Castle, which was built in 1725 according to the French model, today embody the European dimension of the history of the Princes Löwenstein.the Princely Family of Löwenstein looks back with pride on its successful winemaking tradition. It will be continued and further developed at the family's seat in Kleinheubach Castle. Wine enriches the present, and viticulture connects the past with the future.

Franken is a traditional wine-growing region in northern Bavaria, known for its character Silvaner-Wines and the distinctive Bucky bag bottle. The region stretches along the Main and offers ideal conditions for viticulture: mussel limestone soils, steep vineyards and a temperate climate characterize the terroir. In addition to Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Burgundy varieties also thrive here.

The idyllic wine villages such as Würzburg, Volkach and Iphofen invite you to discover historic wineries, vinotheques and Franconian hospitality. Franconia combines excellent wines with a rich culture and picturesque landscape - a real highlight for wine lovers.
