2019 Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve

One of the great red wines from Chile and a top wine from Eduardo Chadwick's Errazuriz winery called Don Maximiano. Presents itself with a dark, bright ruby red in the glass. Extremely exciting, diverse bouquet, it smells of blueberries, blackberries, cassis, coffee and tobacco notes, clear tones of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is wonderfully velvety and dense, great fruit fullness, intense cassis aromas, fine acid structure, good balance, powerful, concentrated with a perfectly integrated wood note (22-month maturation in barriques), but always with a remarkable elegance and freshness and in no way dense or over-concentrated.
