Pale greenish yellow, ripe quince, apples, papaya, gooseberry and delicate pineapple, slightly minty, meadow herbs and some flint, fresh, with fine acidity and good length. Sancerre from the Loire is the Sauvignon classic par excellence. Not as exuberantly fruity as its counterparts from New Zealand or southern Europe, these wines impress with their incredible elegance and finesse. The von Bourgeois is certainly one of the best that come from the region. Perfect with a nice piece of goat's cheese, try this great fusion on the palate! And it's organic too!
