Juicy and incisive on the palate, with deep, spicy cassis and bitter cherry flavors accented by bitter herbs. Closes extremely long, with firm tannic grip and seductive sweetness, leaving a savory mineral note. Shows a surprising level of elegance for the vintage and for this bottling, usually the most off-putting of Guigal's great cote roties.
