The 2016 Clos St Julien is a blend of 50% Cabernet Franc and 50% Merlot, aged for 16 months in 100% new oak. The wine has a deep garnet-purple color and shows warm plums, stewed cherries, dried mulberries and earth with oolong tea and Chinese spices. The palate is medium-bodied with a chewy framework and earthy layers, finishing on an earthy note. Approximately 416 cases produced.
