2018 Château Haut-Brion 1er Cru Classé

Deep dark ruby-garnet red with purple reflections in the glass. On the nose, an elegant, still somewhat reserved bouquet of dark forest berries, subtle herbs, underlaid with nuances of precious wood. Juicy on the palate, prominent cherry aromas, elderberry and blackberry. Fine yet spicy tannins give it a lovely creaminess. The long aromatic finish is characterized by roasted aromas and salty minerality. Very good ageing potential!
