A wine that was made for the first time in 1985. A tribute from father Italo to his son Sergio, who ran the winery with his father from that year onwards. The name is also an allusion to the old name of the Sangiovese grape variety = Sangioveto. A ruby red wine, turning garnet with age. Rich, intense and fine on the nose with a variety of aromas. Warm, powerful and elegant on the palate with a persistent aroma.
Recommendation: This wine meets all the criteria for long-term ageing and is the ideal accompaniment to hearty sauces, game dishes and strong cheeses. Optimal drinking maturity until 2040. Serving temperature 18-21 degrees Celsius.
