The Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc (60% Clairette and 40% Rousanne) is another fine vintage for this cuvée. It has a lighter golden hue as well as vibrant, perfumed notes of lemon curd, crisp pineapple and white flowers that show more honeyed richness with time in the glass. This beautifully balanced wine with medium to full body, perfectly integrated acidity and a dry finish has consistently been one of the white wines of the vintage in recent years, and the 2019 does not break this trend.
