2021 Castel Firmian Lagrein Riserva

This grape variety from South Tyrol has been cultivated in the Dolomites since the 15th century. Production only from the winery's own vineyards at 200-400 meters along the hills in the Adige Valley, cultivated in simple pergela to obtain optimal ripeness and full aromas. Late harvest in mid-October, classic red vinification at 26 degrees on selected yeasts for 12-13 days, followed by 10 months of ageing in 3-year-old French oak barrels.

Recommendation: We recommend this wine with blue cheese, pasta and roast veal.
