2019 The Holy Trinity

One of Grant Burge's top red wines from Australia, the "Holy Trinity", an extremely exciting cuvée of the three grape varieties Grenache-Shiraz-Mourvedre. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and come from 50 to 100-year-old vineyards. A deep dark color in the glass, a fascinating range of aromas of dried plums, cherries, blackcurrants, floral notes, fine roasted aromas, vanilla and spicy notes reminiscent of clove and coriander on the nose, powerful and complex on the palate, but never over-concentrated, straightforward, multi-layered, velvety tannins, underpinned by a fine acid structure, incredibly long-lasting. An extremely exciting red wine cuvée!
