Juicy stone fruit aromas and a graceful structure. The zesty acidity is perfectly balanced by fruit and depth of aroma.
Present yet elegant on the nose; juicy fruit aromas with a delicate structure on the palate, the animating acidity is excellently balanced by the good fruit and depth of aroma. Federspiel reflects the classic Austrian white wine profile.

The vineyards are cultivated sustainably and increasingly organically, without the use of insecticides and herbicides, and are harvested by hand. After precise selection of the grapes and pressing in pneumatic tank presses, controlled fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks takes place.

Domäne Wachau has developed into one of the most important wineries in Austria with a variety of typical Wachau wines under the management of Roman Horvath MW and Heinz Frischengruber. The small plots on the steep terraces along the Danube are painstakingly cultivated by hand by the winegrowing families, the heroes of the estate. Craftsmanship, sustainability and the unique biodiversity are elementary pillars of the work in the vineyards. The Wachau wine region is a renowned wine-growing region in Austria, which stretches along the Danube. It is located in the region of Lower Austria and covers an area of about 1,350 hectares.
