Sustainability is a long-term challenge for everyone and at the same time the most urgent. This means that our actions must be geared towards the environmental, economic and social consequences. In our case, it is therefore important that the various players in each supply chain are well networked and work closely together to minimize the negative impact on the environment and society. The establishment of a digital marketplace and the reduction of middlemen should therefore help to increase efficiency and create transparency across the supply chain.
Climate-neutral shipping with DPD - since 2012
Our shipping service provider DPD is committed to combating climate change with every parcel shipment and has therefore pledged to precisely determine the CO2 footprint per parcel and reduce it by 30 percent by 2025. The remaining emissions will be offset by financing clean energy projects around the world. In addition to climate-neutral shipping, we are committed to implementing the following measures:
Cardboard packaging
We only use cardboard packaging made from recyclable material in accordance with the FSC® standard [FSC.STD-40-004].
No-Go plastic
We do not use plastic filling material.
Recycling
We work in compliance with the German Packaging Act and participate in the dual system.
