2017 Clos Saint Martin

The smallest Grand Cru Classé in Saint-Émilion impresses with its deep purple-garnet color and black center. A firework of blueberries and blackberry jelly on the nose. Fragrant violets, cassis drops and black chocolate notes in the second attack. On the firm palate with noticeable muscle and fine sandy extract, a texture like velvet and silk, floating light-footedly like a ballerina. A full basket of wild berries, dark cherries and elderberries in the long-lasting finish, ending with a fine astringency. A great performance!
