Wines from the best sites

A unique cultural heritage, the best locations and the highest quality standards: these ingredients make our wines a special experience.

The vineyards of Weingut Kloster Eberbach cover almost 230 hectares in the Rheingau and on the Hessische Bergstrasse. The vines for our wines and sparkling wines grow on this terroir - sustainably and carefully produced, always with the demand for the best quality at an international level.

The history of Weingut Kloster Eberbach goes back just as far as the history of the cultural monument itself: Even for the French monks who settled in the Rheingau at the beginning of the 12th century, winegrowing was one of their main occupations. What was initially intended for their own consumption soon developed into a sought-after commodity that secured the future and prosperity of the monastery.

The Rheingau is one of the most renowned wine regions in Germany and world famous for its elegant and durable Rieslings and powerful Spätburgunder. Along the Rhine and its gentle hills, the unique terroir of shale, quartzite and loess soils as well as the mild climate provide ideal conditions for top wines.

The region includes famous wine villages such as Rüdesheim, Eltville and Johannisberg, which are known for their traditional wineries and impressive cultural landscapes. The Rheingau region combines viticulture at the highest level with a rich culture and culinary diversity.
