2005 Essence de Dourthe

The very deep robe has violet reflections. Intensity and finesse characterize a complex nose of admirable aromatic freshness that exudes powerful scents of ripe fruit: red cherries, medlars and black currants, combined with subtle notes of cedar and grilled cocoa. In the mouth, the wine initially impresses with its fullness and density, then surprises with its velvety texture. It is a delicate, silky wine characterized by balance, freshness and purity.
