The 2015 Château Phelan Segur is a wonderful blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Merlot. It opens with inviting aromas of ripe red fruits and blackberries, which combine with smoldering nuances of tobacco and minerals. The palate is medium-bodied, with lovely concentration and focus and remarkable depth on the finish. A delightful Saint-Éstephe that will cellar beautifully for over a decade.
