The 2015 Château Phelan Segur is a wonderful blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon and 47% Merlot. It begins with inviting aromas of ripe red fruits and blackberries that combine with smoldering nuances of tobacco and minerals. The palate is medium-bodied, with lovely concentration and focus and remarkable depth on the finish. A delightful Saint-Éstephe that will hold up beautifully in the cellar for over a decade.
