2016 Rauzan Segla

This is one of those wines that I am always particularly excited about. The vintage constellation should actually suit it. The aroma shows that this is definitely the case, it is hard to beat in terms of sophistication, it is a sensual Burgundian perfume, sensationally complex, incredibly profound. A palate like velvet and silk, the wine glides over the tongue like a feather, the aromatics are simply fantastic, absolutely perfect in balance, the finest race meets refined sweetness, the tannins are of the very best quality and present in abundance, this is even more refined than usual in its best years.

Grape variety: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
