2017 L'Eglise Clinet

The 2017 L'Eglise Clinet is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It starts a bit closed and brooding, but soon unfolds powerful notes of baked black plums, chocolate-covered cherries and blueberry jam with hints of charcoal grill, mocha and anise and a touch of tar. The palate is medium to full-bodied, a powerhouse of crisp, vibrant black fruits framed by wonderfully ripe, rounded tannins and plenty of freshness, with a long and savory finish.
