2018 Beau Sejour Becot

Château Beauséjour Bécot has long been one of the best producers in St. Émilion. One reason for this is, of course, the location of the vineyards on a gifted terroir, the legendary limestone plateau of St. Émilion, interspersed with some clay. And this is where the team has really been pulling out all the stops for years, and 2018 is no exception. The wine, which is primarily characterized by Merlot, conveys power and finesse, a great volume with simultaneous freshness on a fine mineral foundation with soft, flattering tannins, and the aromas of red and black cherries, blackberries, liquorice and lavender are simply enchanting and seductive. The reserves are sufficient for at least 30 years!
