The 2018 La Violette has a deep garnet-purple color and reveals delicate notes of rosehip tea, underbrush and wild sage at the start, then opens up to scents of Black Forest gateau, plum jam and blackberry pie, as well as cedar and cinnamon toast. Big, full and lusciously fruity, it has a firm structure of plush tannins and freshness in the background and finishes opulently.
