The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Carter exudes wonderful Pauillac-like notes of cassis, lead pencil, embers, tobacco and cedar, and the palate is full-bodied, concentrated and rich. Despite its richness and concentration, it remains lively and weightless, with an almost Graves-like sense of minerality and earthiness on the finish. It is a brilliant wine in the making.
