The Clos La Madeleine vineyard belongs to the Moueix family, which owns numerous top-class vineyards in Pomerol, Saint-Émilion and the Napa Valley. Clos La Madeleine comprises just 2.3 hectares of vineyards planted with 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Franc. The wine smells of ripe rose hips, sage, chocolate and cherries. Full-bodied in the mouth, long and earthy on the finish. Wonderful to drink now.
