2019 Hohenroth Riesling VDP Grosse Lage

As with the Silvaner, this friendly small family-run winery shows the potential of Franconian wines in the Riesling GG Hohenrot. Not a loud, overly mellow heavyweight, but rather delicate, lively and highly elegant. Störrlein's wines are not necessarily mainstream, but show lovers of delicate growths a great deal of sophistication, playfulness and enjoyment. For us, this is one of the most interesting wines from Franconia, which will surely reveal its full potential over the years.
