Lemberger is the absolute up-and-coming grape variety in Germany in recent years. Whereas in the past it always had to admit defeat to its Austrian relative, Blaufränkisch, today it is a neck-and-neck race. And when it is so perfectly complemented with Cabernet Sauvignon, as here by the super-talented Philipp Kuhn, it becomes an absolute top wine.
