Jutta Ambrositsch decided to trade her work as art director of an advertising agency for time in the vineyard in 200. Quite spontaneously, actually. The first 1/4 hectare of Riesling was quickly found and leased. The pleasing result confirmed the decision. Bit by bit, the vineyard grew to four hectares. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and vinified puristically in stainless steel and large oak barrels. Non-vineyard yeasts are taboo, and the amount of sulphur used to stabilize the wines is kept to a minimum. The "Buschenschank In Residence" at Langackergasse 5a in Grinzing - a wine village on the outskirts of Vienna - is open ten weekends a year.
