90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc aged in 50% new barrels. Dark, dense color core, purple and quite viscous. Fairly restrained aroma of dark berries on the nose. It shows fresh, crisp and almost still a bit raw and unpolished. In the mouth a rich attack, very smooth with lots of tannins it is fine and long. The wood is well integrated and brings in a chocolaty graphite note.
