The Barbaresco from the Angelo Gaja winery comes from 14 parcels in the region of the same name and embodies the diversity of the appellation.
Bright in color, it reveals aromas of roses, wild strawberries, fine marzipan, wild fennel and a hint of juniper on the nose. The palate reveals a fine salinity, accompanied by crisp red fruit and a bright acidity structure that ensures freshness and excitement.
It is an excellent accompaniment to dishes with roasted dark meat, fine game birds, quail, duck or stuffed Bresse pigeon. A great Barbaresco with great potential.

Angelo Gaja is a famous Italian winemaker. He is known for his high quality standards, care in winemaking and a clear idea of a "Gaja wine".
The roots of the company lie in Spain (17th century). The Gaja winery was then founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaja , a grape producer in Barbaresco. Since the 1980s, the company has expanded its range of wines in other areas of Piedmont and Tuscany and now also produces Barolo and Brunello di Montalcino.
The current owner Angelo Gaja is known to have had a great influence on wine production throughout Italy with his oenological and economic methods. His wines are considered a status symbol on a par with Château Lafite-Rothschild or Krug.
The Tuscany is one of the most famous wine-growing regions in Italy and famous worldwide for its excellent Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.Characterized by gentle hills, cypress alleys and a Mediterranean climate, the region offers ideal conditions for the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Tuscany combines a long wine tradition with modern innovation. Famous wine towns such as Montalcino, Montepulciano and Bolgheri invite you to discover their wineries, tastings and impressive landscapes. In addition to the top wines, the Tuscan cuisine and cultural heritage of the region attract visitors from all over the world.
