Noble golden yellow, ripe, loud peach fruit on the nose, very refreshing. The fine acidity structure on the palate gives this white wine its balanced and finesse-rich personality. This harmonious wine has great potential and is characterized by wonderful elegance, juicy apricot aromas and a long finish.
Food recommendation: Goes perfectly with Far Eastern dishes such as a fish curry or tandoori chicken. Harmonizes excellently with Austrian home cooking, e.g. with baked dishes such as sweetbreads or fried chicken with potato and lamb's lettuce salad. The wine also goes well with Fegato alla Veneziana (veal liver) or a Greek moussaka.

The roots of the Zöhrer winery and family go back 750 years to the time of the Babenbergs.
We work consistently to exploit the potential of the great vineyards, which are among the most important in the Krems Valley. For it is there, in the terroir of the vineyards, that the strength of the Zöhrer winery lies. Most of the vines were planted by the grandfather and father 40 to 100 or more years ago. The focus is on the varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The wines have an unmistakable profile, are characterized by their origin and enjoy international appreciation.
