2017 Clos de Vougeot

Bright ruby red in the glass. Delicate aromas of raspberry, wild cherry, truffle and candied fruit fill the nose, followed by a fine spiciness. On the palate, the wine has a mineral character with fine-grained tannins, a silky texture and a complex finish. A perfect example of an elegant Burgundy from Drouhin!

Recommendation: Serve decanted at 16 degrees Celsius. Goes very well with duck or roast goose, braised leg of lamb, the classic "Boeuf Bourguignon" as well as well-matured cheese. We recommend enjoying this wine between 2024 and 2056.
