2021 Côte de Beaune Village AOP

The elegant Côte de Beaune Village from Ropiteau Frères pours into the glass with a bright light red color. After the first swirl, you can perceive an excellent balance in this red wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the glass walls. The aroma of this red wine from Burgundy is characterized by hints of all kinds of red and black berries and dark fruits such as sour cherries and plums. This wine impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with just 1.9 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a top-quality wine, this Frenchman naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. The Côte de Beaune Village is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its present fruit acidity. The finish of this red wine from the Burgundy region, or more precisely from the Côte de Beaune and Haute Côtes de Beaune, is convincing with a beautiful aftertaste.
