Frühburgunder is one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties and lives up to its name. Slightly more precocious than other Burgundy varieties, it is harvested almost 2 weeks before the start of the harvest. Our Frühburgunder impresses with finely spiced aromas of blackberry, cassis and coffee. There are also fine cherry and raspberry notes that round off the taste perfectly.

Bottler, importer: Weingut J.Neus, Bahnhofstraße 96, 55218 Ingelheim am Rhein, DE
Since 1881, the J.Neus winery has stood for Pinot Noir tradition in the red wine town of Ingelheim am Rhein. Back then, founder Josef Neus Senior laid the foundation for our self-imposed goal, Pinot Noir at the highest level level. Today, these old vines, well-maintained wooden barrels and in-depth knowledge of the chalky vineyards in the district form the solid basis for meeting the standards we have set ourselves.
Rheinhessen, Germany’s largest and oldest wine region, is located in the southwest of the country and is known for its variety of grape varieties, especially Riesling, Silvaner and Müller-ThurgauThe gentle hills, fertile soils and mild climate create ideal conditions for the production of high quality wines.
The region is characterised by traditional wine towns such as Nierstein, Oppenheim and Worms, modern wineries and a lively wine culture. Rheinhessen is regarded as an innovative pioneer in terms of sustainability and quality, offering connoisseurs exciting discoveries.
