A dry, powerful, dense and spicy Moselle wine grown from plots on the steep slope opposite the winery, which have been in the family for generations.

The nose could not be more typical of Laurentiuslay: Brown spices such as nutmeg, clove and aniseed meet white pepper and the tangy, tart fruit aromas of grated orange peel, white peach and ripe apricot, which continue on the palate. There are also roasted aromas, fine bitter liqueur, hints of gingerbread, juniper berry and ginger as well as grapefruit notes and a noticeable hint of grated citrus peel. Laurentiuslay GG focuses on fullness, density and structure and is characterized by a tightly woven network of perfectly balanced secondary and tertiary aromas.

The Moselle is one of the oldest and most renowned wine-growing regions in Germany, known for its steep vineyards along the picturesque Moselle loops. It is considered home to some of the best Rieslings of the world, famous for their elegance, minerality and lively acidity. The unique terroir, characterized by slate soils and a mild climate, offers ideal conditions for viticulture.

The region includes well-known wine villages such as Bernkastel-Kues, Piesport and Traben-Trarbach, which delight with their rich wine tradition. In addition to Riesling, grape varieties such as Elbling and Müller-Thurgau can also be found here. The Moselle combines excellent wine with an impressive cultural landscape, in which steep terraces, historic wineries and romantic villages characterize the picture. A true paradise for wine lovers and connoisseurs.
