The "Neuleininger Feuermännchen" site is characterized as our top site with a high proportion of limestone. A cool and very sheltered site with optimal ripening conditions. Classically vinified, the Pinot Noir displays fruity aromas such as wild forest berries, cassis, sour cherry and blackberry. The fruity taste is also supported by smoky, spicy flavors such as wild herbs and a hint of pepper. Selected and treated with the utmost care, the Feuermännchen matures in new barrique barrels. The Pinot Noir was bottled unfiltered. The ageing potential is extraordinary!
