2022 Solarco Collio Bianco

The vineyard is located in Ruttars in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio. Soil type: marl and clay. Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand in crates, soaked for eight hours in a cold horizontal press and the must is purified by settling. 20% of the fermentation takes place in Allier barriques, the remaining 80% in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 10-12C. Once fermentation is complete, the resulting product is not poured and therefore remains in the same vats for around six months to mature at a constant temperature. At the end of this period, the wine is assembled and bottled. This is followed by another long ageing period in the bottle. The wine has a golden yellow color and a bouquet reminiscent of fresh bread crust and vanilla. It is very fine on the palate, reminiscent of apples, acacia and tropical fruit.
