Light yellow with greenish reflections, delicate scent of pome fruit and some white pepper. Great food companion!
With lively acidity and complex depth, the Domaines Kilger 2022 Weißburgunder Südsteiermark DAC shows its beautiful face. A finesse-rich aromatic interplay of brioche and imperial pear. Precise, full-bodied and creamy on the palate, supported by elegant acidity and a lingering finish. It was aged in steel tanks. Domaines Kilger Weißburgunder Südsteiermark DAC, also known as Pinot Blanc, is one of the most important grape varieties in southern Styria. In contrast to Chardonnay, the white grape variety demands extremely high site conditions. Only in the best sites does the variety deliver the highest quality.

Once upon a time, not so long ago, a Bavarian wine enthusiast lost his heart to Styria. He was captivated by the sight of the hills and their dizzyingly steep rows of vines. The spicy, fragrant air of the high-lying mixed forests filled him with joie de vivre. The tranquillity and self-confidence of the Styrians enticed him to stay. And so he stayed! The rest is history.
