Pinot Gris is grown in Girlan on the hills of the Überetsch, at an altitude of 450 - 500 m above sea level, in well-ventilated areas. The soil of the growing area is rich in minerals formed by sediments from the glaciation period. This also gives the wine its finesse and crystal clear minerality. A perfect companion to root vegetables, such as asparagus, or even grilled artichokes.
