Under the management of Christoph Tyrell, Weingut Karthäuserhof remains at the very top of German wineries. But it is now also one of the most successful German wine producers internationally. Owner Christoph Tyrell is supported by cellar master and managing director Christian Vogt. Christian Vogt himself is a winemaker's son from the Moselle, who trained as a wine business economist at Heilbronn University before landing at Karthäuserhof in 2008. The philosophy of the house is an uncompromising pursuit of quality, an innovative way of thinking and a dignified approach to the given resources of nature. Top priority is given to respectful contact with Mother Earth. This goes hand in hand with treating flora and fauna as gently as possible, as this is the only way to maintain healthy soil and strong vines in the long term.
