The grapes for this wine come from the best vineyards in Tattendorf. For this wine, only a few grapes remain per vine to achieve optimal ripeness. The grapes are processed very gently and the mash then ferments under optimal conditions in open mash tanks. The wine then goes into 2nd filling barrels and then matures there for 16 months.
Taste: a touch of wood among the ripe berry aromas, plus some vanilla and a hint of chocolate.
