Burgundy with its unique character: ruby color, intense spice, smoky, complex structure.
Site: "Höllenberg" is derived from old German "helda" (= steep slope). The soil of the vineyard, which is steep up to 65%, consists very homogeneously of purple-colored phyllite slate. The 17 hectares of the winery are located within the historic boundaries of the Höllenberg site, which are among the best parcels of the Höllenberg. These are located in the valley cut facing away from the Rhine with a pure southern exposure.
